About Us
LifeChurch is a Bible-based Christian fellowship. We hold to the truths of historic Christianity and value the Holy Scriptures as the final authority in all matters of our Christian life. While we network with several churches and ministries for support and accountability, we do not belong to a denomination. We have a hunger to experience New Testament simplicity of church life. Our members come from a variety of church backgrounds.
Abundant Life
Abundant life is found in relationship with Jesus Christ and made complete in relationship with others. The teachings of Jesus show us that abundant life is found in God’s presence, in worship, serving one another, and in giving. We want our world to know the abundant life that Jesus offers.
Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” —John 10:10
Community
Church is a place where we can relate and have community: living, laughing and learning together in God’s House. Community affords me the chance to give as well as receive. We encourage each other in Godly pursuits and lifestyle. Healthy marriages and families don’t just happen—we need each other.
And they [the believers] continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship [koinonia—also association or community], in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. —Acts 2:42
Kingdom
Jesus preached about and demonstrated the Kingdom of God. Christ has called his Church to do the same. Our desire is for our world to experience the reality of God’s blessings here on earth. We relate to many churches and ministries, as partners together for God’s kingdom purposes to be accomplished—for individuals, our city, nation and the world.
Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. —Matthew 6:10
