CHC Opening in September
Beginning in September, LifeChurch will be hosting the newly formed Community Homeschool Center. CHC is a non-profit, board run organization. CHC will offer classroom space for homeschool classes ranging from Spanish to Exercise. In addition, CHC will offer a place for homeschool parents and children to socialize before, during and after classes. The CHC hours are M-Th from 10am-3pm.

“Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage” August 28 & Sept. 1
Lee and I are scheduling a couple of “Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage” events. The dates are:
AUG 28th (SAT)
SEP 1st (WED)
If you are “Laugh Your Way” alumni then you know our agenda for this marriage strengthening event but for those who have not participated before, here is what we plan for the evenings:
5:30-6:30 pm – Arrival and meal preparation (either potluck or grille…we will let the specific attendees know which)
6:30-8:30 pm – Dinner and Session 1, “Men’s Brains Women’s Brains” (How Men and Women think differently)
8:30-9:15 pm – Final Session, “How To Stay Married and Not Kill Someone” (focus is on Forgiveness and Commitment)
This is a true “date night” so our 4-5 couples have their own table with tablecloth and candle. The DVD teaching is projected on the wall and Pastor Mark Gungor (laughyourway.com) delivers excellent teaching while keeping his crowd (and all of us) laughing and learning.
Let us know if you or a couple you know is interested and we will reserve a table.
